"I'm Not Harry Jenson"
is the end result of a three year collaboration between writer/director James Napier Robertson, producer Tom Hern and co-producer Edward Sampson.
With very little money or resources available (it fits into the 'no-budget' category of films), Harry was made entirely on a combination of determination, persistence and good will from many people, ranging from investors, to crew members, to cast, all who got involved knowing and embracing the nature of the project.
Every area of this film has been achieved in an unconventional way, from the way the film was financed, right through to the marketing of the film and the way it is reaching audiences. Our goal has always been to persevere, to never give up regardless of what obstacles might be encountered, and above all else to create something we could all be proud of.
With the film due to be released nationwide in theatres throughout New Zealand from January 2010, (with a global DVD launch planned for later in year) we feel this is finally a reality.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the people who have been involved so far, and to all the people that will continue to help us in the future. Without you, this never would have been possible.
